Gwyneth Paltrow, a successful major American actress plays the part of Pepper Potts in Iron Man the sequel. According to her statements, she is thrilled to play in just about any type of genre, as long as the cast offers a quality and she has new things to learn, new means to perfect herself. Having a huge career, Paltrow adds to the quality of the movie, and basically stands to prove how complicated relationships are, mixing up femininity with passion and class. Her role in Tony’s life is to organize, plan and help him with everything related to his life.

Mickey Rourke, screenwriter and famous American actor has had numerous roles in various movies. His role is most suited in all genres, varying from drama to thriller movies. Early in his life he opted for a career change from a professional boxer to an acting position, even taking up acting classes with the financial help from his sister. His debut film has introduced him to Steven Spielberg. Throughout his career, even the small parts in unsuccessful movies have attracted the critics’ attention. Taking a break from the acting career, in 1991, the actor confessed that his life was becoming too much for himself and needed to regain his self-respect. After numerous accidents his face had to be reconstructed through surgery, he suffered from a severe short term memory loss episode, among many other accidents. The actor confessed in an interview to the media that he does not feel like himself these days, and that he is disappointed with the plastic surgery results. His cast in Iron Man the sequel, playing as Whiplash, the villain, who also has a chest power, resembling Iron Man’s power, will feature related technologies and multiple confrontations.

Donald Frank Cheadle : actor, author and film producer. He plays an important part of Iron Man 2, taking part in the making of the movie as an executive producer and as The War Machine.  During his career, Cheadle has worked as a stand-up comedian, an activist against the Sudan genocide.

Robert Downey, the main character in Iron Man 2 has an impressive career both in filming (producing, acting) and in the music business. His early start (at only five years old) was made in one of the films his father was directing. R. Downey has been acting ever since, without breaks, in extremely famous roles and films.  He was awarded with the Best Actor award due to his magnificent interpretation in Chaplin, playing as Charlie Chaplin himself.  Another major role was, as we all remember, in the comedy series Ally Mcbeal, as Ally’s on and off love. His career did suffer due to his constant substance abuse and drinking problems, for almost five years, from 1996 and until 2001, when he was out of a treatment facility prison. “A huge talent”, in the words of Woody Allen himself, Robert Downey has managed to perform at extremely high levels in any movie. His first “blockbuster” film was, however Iron Man. In 2008, the part as Iron Man has recreated and reassigned Downey as the brilliant actor, a uniquely talented man. For the film, R. Downey had to put on over twenty (20) pounds of muscle in just 5 months. After the first part of Iron Man was released, Robert had officially agreed to act as Iron Man in the sequel.
